Not being able to continue with my life drawing at this point in time, unless through the filter of technology, I have resorted to self portraiture. I use the mirror rather than a photograph.
And I have drawn on tissue paper, recycled from an old photograph album where the paper was used to protect the photos. The paper is tinted, fragile, textured and translucent. I think of this as providing a metaphor for our times under Covid 19 and myself at 70!
