These paintings are as a result of a plein air visit to Clareville on a beautiful overcast summer's day last weekend. Because of the high humidity it was very hazy and it struck me that the colours I was viewing were quite limited. So I have limited my palate to white, Burnt Sienna, yellow and blue.
